Are you an MCU user looking to develop a signal processing algorithm? Are you a software developer looking for a high performance and very easy-to-program device?
Find out how to develop signal processing algorithms on Cortex-M processors. Discover how the signal processing features of the new Cortex-M4 processor make it possible to develop high performance algorithms easily in an ultra low power footprint. Take a close look at optimization techniques for tasks ranging from standard algorithms to more advanced applications like motor control.

Attend this online seminar to learn:
- Signal processing is not for DSPs anymore.
- The Cortex-M4 processor makes high performance signal processing possible in a microcontroller class device.
- Developing signal processing algorithms on the Cortex-M4 processor is very easy – you can program it all in C!
Shyam Sadasivan, Product Manager, ARM
Shyam has been with ARM since 2002, contributing in many areas including designing I/O interfaces, developing new design methodologies and product marketing for leading processors. Shyam is now involved in extending the reach of Cortex-M processor technologies into new markets and applications. Shyam holds Masters degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering and also the General Management Certificate from the University of Cambridge.
Paul Beckmann, CEO/CTO, DSP Concepts LLC
Paul Beckmann is the founder and CEO/CTO of DSP Concepts, LLC, an engineering services company specializing in DSP algorithm development and supporting tools. He has many years of experience developing and implementing numerically intensive algorithms for audio, communications, and video. Paul has taught industry courses on digital signal processing, and holds a variety of patents in processing techniques. He spent 9 years at Bose Corporation and was involved in R&D and product development activities. Paul received S.B., S.M., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering, all from M.I.T.
John Rayfield, CEO, Code Red
John is the CEO of Code Red Technologies, a supplier of development tools for ARM based microntrollers. Code Red Technologies has sophisticated product support for the NXP LPC product lines and the Ti Stellaris product lines. This includes parts based on the Cortex-M3 and Cortex-M4 where Code Red delivers compelling runtime trace features that are particularly important in control-type algorithms.
Prior to founding Code Red Technologies (CA, USA), John was CEO of a VC funded wireless semiconductor company focused on programmable solutions to wireless baseband. Code Red Technologies really brings John full circle back to being closely associated with ARM where John was employed for 8-years in a range of roles including VP Marketing USA, Director of Technical Marketing and Director of R&D. John has a B.Sc. Hons. In Electronics from Brunel University, England, and a M.Sc. in Signal Processing from the University of Surrey, England.
