This morning while surfing on the Internet I stumbled upon an MSNBC site that has been tallying votes on Arizona’s immigration law. On the site it states:

In July, Arizona will begin enforcing a new law that requires law enforcement officers to check someone’s immigration status if they have reason to suspect that he or she is in the country illegally. Do you think this is a good idea?

On the day I looked at the vote count it was roughly 95% Yes votes and 5% No votes.

What do you think? Is Arizona right or wrong and why?

Comments welcome.
