Many of us are stuck with the bad habit of creating presentations that contain text filled slides, bulleted list after bulleted list, which is not appealing to any audience. With that said, I just finished reading a fabulous book by Cliff Atkinson’s called Beyond Bullet Points: Using Microsoft PowerPoint to Create Presentations That Inform, Motivate, and Inspire.
If you create PPT presentations, I highly recommend you read it as well. It has helped me to see that behind every presentation is a story. Furthermore, the author provides a structure and framework that you can follow to communicate that story in a compelling way.
