Microsoft’s new motion gaming system has now been announced as “Microsoft Kinect” replacing its code name which was “Project Natal”.

One of the games will be a white water rafting simulation. It turns out that this game will be a part of a suite of games called Kinect Adventures. And there will be another sure called Kinect Sports which Microsoft aims to take on Nintendo’s Wii Sports. That package will include games like bowling, boxing, track and field, volleyball, table tennis and various other physical activity games.

We should learn more soon at E3, and there have also been reports of a slimmer Xbox controller that has not been officially released but has surfaced in some Italian ads.
