I recently started poking around some of the Outlook 2010 beta. Although I haven’t explored it in much detail, at first glance there are definitely some new features that I’m going to find very useful. Some of my favorites already include:

  • Quick View — This feature lets you see how a meeting request affects your calendar so you can instantly see if there are any conflicts or adjacent meetings. You can do this from within the meeting request!
  • Conversation View — This feature lets you manage conversations taking place within email strings. Using the Ignore option you can send an entire conversation string to Deleted items.
  • Mail Tips — This feature helps you to avoid mistakes such as clicking Reply All to a larger distribution list.
