Instead of printing an entire worksheet, you can print a specific selection. For example, you can print data within a certain range of cells on a worksheet, instead of printing all the data on the worksheet. All you need to do is define the area to include the specific selection using the Set Print Area option.

To set the print area in Excel 2007:

  1. Open the worksheet containing the data that you want to print.
  2. On the worksheet, select the specific cells that you want to print.
  3. Click the Page Layout tab.
  4. Within the Page Setup group, click Print Area, and then click Set Print Area.

You can easily remove the print area by repeating step 4, only you will select the Clear print area option.
