There should be an image here!One might like to think that all is equal and fair when it comes down to the divide between Apple and Android. Unfortunately, there is a lot more going on in this respect than initially meets the eye.

According to this report, we see that Android leads the way with regard to free apps for their mobile devices while the Apple iPhone, remains a player with the paid apps.

Does this mean that Android has better free apps and the iPhone/iOS serves up better paid apps? If the data is any indicator, perhaps this is the case. But I am not one to rush to this judgment as this can be interpreted in a number of ways. Some folks might even say that it’s just at matter of iPhone users being willing to spend more on apps than Android users. Hey, just saying…
