There should be an image here!So apparently Twitter has received a facelift of sorts. I’ve yet to see it myself as I still recognize what appears to be the old home page for the social network, but the above linked article states that we’re looking at something brand new.

Now it seems the idea is to allow Twitter to take a more direct approach at Facebook’s dominance over the rest of the world. Personally, I don’t see this changing anything. You either use Twitter or you don’t.

All of the negativity aside, it does sound like Twitter has been re-faced in such a way to make using it a heck of a lot more pleasant. So this perceived revamped experience could definitely keep people on the Web site more and using the applications less. But until I see it roll out live on myself, I am going to have to remain a bit skeptical.
