Contrary to popular belief, iJustine is not someone who always knows what to say. She’s as unsure of herself as the rest of us when it comes to handling random conversations with strangers. Many of you out there are good at covering up your nervousness. You figure out what to say without even having to think about it. I usually am able to do this, as well. But there are times…

How do you handle situations such as the one Justine found herself in? Do you laugh it off, turn rude and mean, or actually engage the person in longer conversations? If this had happened to you, would you have done anything differently? I know at least one person who would have agreed to meet later in a public place (like Starbucks!) with a few friends along for good measure. She’s always up for getting to know more people.

You never know… that random person you meet could turn out to be the one. I’m a firm believer in always grabbing every opportunity you can to connect with others. However, I just don’t always know how to talk to them once I do! What are your suggestions?
