One of the easiest ways to customize Office 2010 to meet your own needs is to add the commands that you frequently use to the Quick Access toolbar. For example, if you frequently use the E-mail command, you can add it to the toolbar where it is easily accessible.
To customize the quick access toolbar, click the down arrow to the right of the Quick Access toolbar. By default there are only three quick access icons enabled. That is, Save, Undo and Redo. To enable one of the other commands, simply select the appropriate command so a check appears beside it. Once enabled, the icon appears on the Quick Access toolbar.
