Fantastic, Windows Phone 7 is about to be released according to this post. What is surprising about this however, is that we appear to have had our premiere launch partners switched along the line. What happened to AT&T being the provider to launch with?
Now it looks like we will be seeing T-Mobile acting as the provider of choice instead of a stronger, more popular carrier. And that is fine, so long as Windows Phone 7 options are made available to Verizon and AT&T asap. Because let’s face it, when the first Android phone launched on T-Mobile, no one really cared.
So what’s it going to be, Microsoft? Can we expect to see the Windows Phone 7 released to other carriers sooner rather than later? Perhaps instead, this is already in the works and I’ve simply not been made aware of it? Whatever the case may be, here’s to hoping for some success on the mobile front. I’ve played with the phone, it’s actually surprisingly nice to use.
