There should be an image here!Word 2007 includes a nifty Preview option that lets you see the contents of a document without actually having to open it. This feature comes in handy when you’re looking for information but not sure in which document it’s contained.

To use the Preview feature:

  1. Within Word, click the Microsoft Office Button and click Open.
  2. From the Open window, click the drop down arrow beside Views and click Preview. The Preview pane appears.
  3. From the Preview pane, click any file and preview the contents in the left pane.
  4. When you find the file you’re looking for, Click Open.
