There should be an image here!Snap in Windows 7 introduces a new way of managing open windows on your desktop. By simply dragging and dropping windows to different edges of your screen, you can easily arrange open Windows.

Snap is not for everyone. Some people never use it and others completely dislike it. If you fall into either of these categories, you can easily disable Snap using the steps described below.

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Select the Ease of Access Center option.
  3. Click Make the mouse easier to use.
  4. Remove the check beside the Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen option.
  5. Click Apply to save your changes.
