When it comes to Google advertising or how Google indexes the Web as a whole, I believe that we are fairly familiar with Google’s approach to each. But how many of us are really familiar with Google’s marketing experiment with Google Goggles.

The idea is simple enough. Using select smart phones and their cameras, run the Google Goggles application and receive related ad information for things placed in front of the phone itself. Landmarks, names and titles, the list goes on.

Where I think we are going to see some really amazing advances is when more traditional print advertising is viewed through Google Goggles. Still in its very early stages, Google Goggles could open some very exciting doors in the near future with how ads reach out to people who might be the appropriate market.
