Have you ever noticed that some printers print documents do that page 1 ends up at the bottom of the stack, which means you need to manually reorder them? If can avoid this by reversing the print order when you send a document to print within Word. By reversing the print order, page 1 will be at the top of the stack.

There should be an image here!

To reverse the print order in Word 2007:

  1. Within Word, click the Microsoft Office Button.
  2. Choose Word Options from the menu.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Under the Print options, click Print pages in reverse order.
  5. Pick OK.

Keep in mind that this will affect all documents you print, not just the current document. If you switch to a different printer, you may need to turn off reverse printing by completing the steps described above and deselecting the Print pages in reverse order option in step 4.
