Windows 7 lets you pin programs to the taskbar. All you have to do is drag and drop the program onto the taskbar. Great feature, however, the downside is that you can only pin .exe files. You can’t pin a file, folder or icon such as the Recycle Bin.
To get around this, you can download a nifty little tool called Windows 7 Taskbar Items Pinner. The tool lets you pin files, folders and other items, such as the Recycle Bin, to the taskbar.
