We got a little commentary from both sides of the argument, but the truth remains that whether Cenegenics is a scam or not, it claims to help you age slower and lose weight, then slaps on a hefty price tag.

Fortunately for you, there are plenty of ways to achieve good health without exhausting your savings and relying on potentially dubious hormone and steroid treatments, like those provided by Cenegenics. Scam or not, here is a list of 10 Cenegenics alternative diets that actually work and will help you achieve good health well into old age — and have money left over to sustain you through those years to come!

Cenegenics Alternatives

Volumetrics Diet

The Volumetrics Diet consists of eating low-energy foods, such as fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy foods, and soups. You can work in high calorie foods if you need to, but the idea is to eat a high volume of low-calorie foods so that you fill up on foods with more nutritional elements.

Mediterranean Diet

There is a general claim that people living in Mediterranean countries enjoy healthier weight and fewer occurrences of cancers and heart disease. This regional diet emphasizes beans, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and occasional fish, chicken, and dairy products.

TLC Diet

The Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes Diet is associated with cutting down on cholesterol levels for weight loss. With this diet, saturated fats are strictly avoided, cholesterol intake is lowered, and foods high in fiber are recommended.
