Elmo Yoga Union

I’m sure by now you’ve seen my yoga video, right? I’ve come to realize in recent months that my level of productivity had decreased. I simply no longer had the energy to keep up with all I had to do. I know my stress levels were through the roof. What I didn’t realize is that having a healthy mind is also tied to having a healthy body… and vice versa. By getting out and participating in more physical activities, I’m also learning to relax my mind, and de-stress myself. It’s working, too! I have renewed energy and enthusiasm!

How do you relax? What are your little secrets and tricks that you use in order to try to keep some semblance of order and peace in your mind? One thing I have always done, as you know, is to read up on what is going on in our community. I learn things, I laugh at things, and I even at times empathize with things.

My wife has a digital camera, but we hardly ever use it. As you can imagine, she uses it a lot more than I do, but even then, we barely take any pictures with it. You see, I enjoy looking at pictures, but I’m not a shutterbug in any way. Whether you enjoy looking at pictures or snapping them yourself, there’s certainly a lot to love about what the Internet has done for photography. Thanks to the Web, images can be shared with a worldwide audience quickly and efficiently, and when you think about online photo sharing, you can’t help but bring up Flickr.

Flickr is the king, and while there are a lot of imitators, there is only one Flickr. In addition to pictures, Flickr also now enables you to upload and share videos, but whether you upload pictures or videos, your content will be right at home with Flickr. Content is easily organized, tagged, and notated, and you can even use what you’ve created to make cool things like stamps and photo books. Flickr represents Web 2.0 at its finest, so if you haven’t done so, create an account and start sharing your digital memories today.

I think I’ve only taken one good photo in my entire life, and no mater how hard I try, I’m just not a shutterbug. Since the quality and quantity of the pictures that I take is very low, you can see why I’m not very inclined to show them off at any given time. Instead, I usually just keep them tucked away in some folder deep in the recesses of my hard drive. Because of this, I’m doing the public a service whether they realize it or not. Although it may not be the case with me, there are plenty of people out there who would like to not only display their pictures online, but also print them out and frame them. Framr will get the job done.

This service opens up online custom picture framing to the masses, and since they do the work for you, all you need to do is select the photo that you want to use, choose the size, pick the frame and the mat from a variety of choices, place your order, and wait for it to be delivered. Their prices are pretty attractive, and they make bringing something digital into the real world in a nice way a piece of cake in terms of time, effort, and money.
