Oppo's Find X10 Phones Launched Worldwide, and Europe's Version Holds 850mAh Less Battery Than India's

Oppo's own spec pages list 7,150mAh for the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in the UK, Germany, France and Spain, against 8,000mAh in India, the UAE, China and Southeast Asia, without saying why.

The numbers sit on Oppo’s own pages. The UK page reads “7150 mAh/26.89 Wh(Typical)” and “6960 mAh/26.17 Wh(Rated).” The India page reads “8000 mAh/29.76 Wh(Typical)” and “7790 mAh/28.98 Wh(Rated).” Charging is the same in both places: 80W wired and 50W wireless.

Tech-ish checked the rest of Oppo’s regional pages. The UK, Germany, France and Spain list 7,150mAh. India, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and China list 8,000mAh. The base Find X10 splits the same way. Oppo’s launch release carried one line on it, quoted by Tech-ish: “Battery capacity varies by country and region.” The European cells also land just under 27Wh, where the Indian ones sit near 30Wh. Last year’s Find X9 had no split at all, at 7,025mAh everywhere.

The smaller cell is the same phone otherwise. GSMArena’s India launch report put it directly: “the phone will indeed have an 8,000mAh battery, unlike the European models, which got their capacity restricted to 7,150mAh.” The Pro Max keeps its Dimensity 9600 Pro and three 200MP cameras in every region GSMArena covered.

Here’s what differs by region:

Find X10 Pro Max (Europe) Find X10 Pro Max (India) Find X10 (Europe) Find X10 (India) Find X9
Battery (typical) 7,150mAh 8,000mAh 7,150mAh 8,000mAh 7,025mAh everywhere

Launch price €1,800, £1,500 (512GB) ₹200,000 (12GB/512GB) From €1,300, £1,100 From ₹140,000 —

Weights and box contents come from Tech-ish and Oppo’s spec pages; prices come from GSMArena’s two reports. A dash means the source didn’t give it.

What Oppo didn’t say: why Europe gets the smaller cell, whether the difference shows up in battery life, or how many years of updates either version gets. Tech-ish also noticed the India page lists no eSIM. The phones go on sale in India on October 29.

The split matters most to anyone reading a review before buying. A battery test run on an Indian or Chinese unit will flatter the European one by roughly 12%. The next thing to watch is whether European reviewers measure the gap, and whether Oppo ever says what caused it.
