vivo's Y600 Puts a 10,000mAh Battery in a 1,999-Yuan Phone, and vivo Says It Livestreamed for 32 Hours on One Charge
vivo launched the Y600 in China with a 10,000mAh typical-capacity battery from CNY 1,999 (about $280), and says it set a Guinness World Records title by livestreaming for 32 hours 37 minutes.

vivo’s product page puts the record in one sentence: “Y600 完成了 32 小时 37 分钟最长时间的手机产品测试直播,打破吉尼斯世界纪录™称号。” In English, the Y600 completed the longest livestream test for a phone product, 32 hours 37 minutes, and broke a Guinness World Records title.
The battery behind it is listed as “典型容量:10000mAh(3.73V),” with a rated capacity of 9,800mAh. vivo also promises the cell keeps at least 80 percent of its capacity after 1,400 charge cycles, and markets that as “7 年耐用,” seven years of durability. The fine print says that figure comes from a lab simulation.
The rest is a midrange phone: a Dimensity 7300e, 44W wired charging, a 6.83-inch 1.5K screen and both IP68 and IP69 ratings. GSMArena lists four configurations, from CNY 1,999 for 6GB/128GB to CNY 2,499 for 8GB/256GB, with open sales on October 30, plus reverse wired charging, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. GSMArena also calls it “pretty much confirmed” to be a rebranded vivo S2 FE or V80 Lite.
Its predecessor, the Y500, listed “典型容量:8200mAh,” a Dimensity 7300 and 90W charging, with a promise of 80 percent capacity after 1,000 cycles. The Y600 adds 1,800mAh and 400 cycles, and gives up more than half the charging speed.

What vivo’s page doesn’t say: how long a full charge takes at 44W, how many years of Android updates the phone gets, or whether it’ll launch outside China under another name.
Battery capacity in phones sat around 5,000mAh for years, and the US market still mostly does: Motorola’s 2026 G Power, a phone sold on its battery, lists 5,200mAh. Chinese makers moved past that with silicon-carbon cells, and the race now runs at 10,000mAh and up.
None of these big-battery phones is sold in the US. For American buyers, the Y600 is a look at where battery specs are heading, more than a phone to order.
